Terms and Conditions

We only sell the finest weathervanes and cupolas that money can buy.  Remember our weathervanes and cupolas are not mass produced - they are works of art and sometimes your order may take a little longer than anticipated.  Please be understanding, and we promise to keep you informed throughout the process and quickly let you know if there are any unexpected delays.  Our  weathervanes usually ship in 3 - 7 business days, and our WhiteHall Products weathervanes usually ship in 2 weeks.  Our handmade cupolas usually ship in about 7 - 10 business days (but during the busy season in can take up to 3 weeks).  The products we carry are hand-made and we cannot guarantee the time when the product will be available, or when it will be shipped.  Because our products are custom made to order (including cupolas and weathervanes) your credit card will be charged at the time you place your order and cannot be returned or cancelled once production has begun (usually within 2 business days after your order is submitted).   If a product is lost, stolen or damaged during shipment, the customer must contact Country Weathervanes within 10 days of shipment and keep all original boxes and packing materials.

Shipping charges will be added to your order during checkout, however, in the case of cupolas, the actual shipping charges may be different from what was calculated.   Be advised that we only charge you what UPS or the motor freight company charges us for shipping your order.  You will be notified of any additional shipping charges before your order is shipped (for your approval).   Please note that some large or very heavy orders (all wood cupolas over 36" square, and all vinyl cupolas over 30" square) may require shipment via common carrier motor freight (truck).   If you are ordering a cupola that has to be shipped via motor freight, you can give us a call or email us with your state and zip code for a better estimate of what the motor freight charges will be.

We only ship inside the United States.  We do not ship to U.S. Possessions, APOs, FPOs, or any other Countries. 

**Please Note:**  Charges on your credit card statement will be from "Global Stores Direct LLC", parent company of Country Weathervanes.   If you need to cancel before shipment, please let us know quickly.   Note: We cannot issue refunds on some special order items.   Special order items (including cupolas and weathervanes) will be charged to your credit card at the time you place your order.  After you order, we will send you two emails. The first is to confirm your purchase and provide you with a link where you can monitor your order status at any time. The second email is sent when your package has been shipped.  Shipments to destinations in Florida will be charged 6% sales tax and a 1% handling fee (Total 7%)

Your billing name, address and phone number must match exactly what the credit card company has on file for you.   We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not match these criteria.

Transactions at Country Weathervanes are 100% secure with 128-bit encrypted SSL technology. Countryweathervanes.com does not keep your credit card number on file or use your personal information for anything except order processing and shipment.

SHIPPING to an address that is different from your BILLING address may delay your order until the alternate shipping address can be verified with your bank. (You might need to contact your credit card issuer and ask them to put a notation on your account showing the alternate delivery address).

CANCELLATIONS and RETURNS

Because weathervanes and cupolas are custom-made, Country Weathervanes charges your credit card within 24 hours of placing your order.  Once an item has been shipped, customers are responsible for shipping charges both ways for all returns and for all defective products.  Please do not ship your package back until you receive a Return Merchandise Authorization number and the address of our warehouse.  Unauthorized returns without an RMA will be refused.  Customers can return most weathervanes within 25 days of shipment and Country Weathervanes will issue a credit (minus shipping charges and 20% restocking fee).  Because all weathervanes made by WhiteHall are considered Special Order items, they are not returnable and no refund will be issued.  The customer pays all shipping costs for all exchanged or returned items.  Defective products can only be returned for a replacement of the same product (no exchanges), subject to the manufacturer's terms and conditions.  Country Weathervanes does not do repairs. 

All returned products must have a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#) on the box.  Please email sales@countryweathervanes.com to request an RMA number.  Include your name, address, telephone number, Order number, the name of the product you are returning, and the reason for the return.   Items should be returned in NEW CONDITION with insurance (in case of loss or damage) and via a traceable shipping method.   You’ll also need to provide us with a tracking number.   No returns will be accepted without an authorization.    Other restrictions may apply.
 

If a product requires repair, either Warranty or otherwise, the customer should contact the manufacturer directly - Country Weathervanes does not do repairs, however, we will assist you in any way we can.  All Warranty repairs and replacements are made totally at the discretion of the manufacturer under their terms.  Most of our products are made by Good Directions and WhiteHall Products.
